Weird local laws and bans

There are places across the country where they have banned some weird things.

Sometimes I think they definitely are doing a service by banning this stuff, other times it will just leave you scratching your head.

I wonder how many unwitting people have been fined for breaking laws that they would have no idea even existed.

How would you react if you were arrested or ticketed over something weird?

Take a look at some weird local laws and bans:

Fashion Ban

In Albany Georgia they have banned wearing saggy pants in public.  Rumor has it they have collected over $4,000 in fines with this ban.

Shoe Ban

In Carmel, California it is against the law to wear high heels. The law isn’t enforced, in fact it has taken on sort of a touristy joke. You can buy fake “high heel licenses” at souvenir shops.
