I actually thought it was Wednesday so technically I’m a day early.
BTW, anybody know how to network 2 computers using a wireless Linksys router? I can see the internet and use it but not share the computers. It’s kind of annoying to have to use a flash drive to transfer files between computers sitting right next to each other.
Without further ado, below are a few things I wanted to share with you this week.
So I don’t actually have anything in my inbox worthy of sharing so I will make up some of my own stuff….
Scholastic has a program where you can take surveys and get a free book in return. The Scholastic Parent and Child Reader’s Panel sends relevant surveys to parents of young children and in exchange you get a book. I would say I get no more than 1 a month and maybe even less than that but the surveys are short and we have been enjoying the free books. To sign up you need to send an email to: P&CConnects@Scholastic.com and include the following info: your contact information, a valid email address, and the ages of your children. All of the books we have gotten have been geared towards 8 and under.

Have you ever heard of Upromise? It is a college savings plan that doesn’t cost you a dime. You register your credit cards and shop at your regular retailers (if they participate) and through their site online and you get cash back from your purchases that gets put into a college savings account for your kids. Once you set it up you don’t have to do anything and it will slowly grow. It’s free money, might as well take it.
