There is nothing like a sunset to take your breath away.
As the day comes to a close and the sun sinks down below the horizon creating beautiful shades of reds and yellows, it welcomes whatever the night may hold with a beauty like nothing else.
But not all sunsets are created equal.
There are places in the world where a sunset is even more stunning because of the surroundings.
Take a look at some stunning sunsets from across the world:
Sunset over Glacier National Park, Montana USA
Lantau Island, Hong Kong sunset over the Tian Tan Buddha statue
Sunset over Mt. Fuji, Japan
Sunset over the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia
Sunset over Loch Linnhe, Scotland
Sunset over the Great Wall of China
South Africa, sunset over Augrabies Falls National Park
Sunset over Islamorada, Florida Keys USA
Sunset of the Sahara Desert, Africa

Hey, I loved Augrabies Falls National Park on a safari through many southern and eastern African countries. What is missing on your list is the sunset over Bwindi rain forest and the Virunga volcanoes in western Uganda – one of the highlights of my trip in 2010.
So beautiful!
