You might normally consider Sam’s Club for back-to-school. Seriously, who needs 500 pencils or 300 folders? Maybe the Duggar’s, but not too many other people. Although, you could buy in bulk NOW and never have to buy folders or pencils again. Sam’s Club doesn’t pretend to necessarily have the best solution for your school supply list needs, but they do offer some great solutions for your other essential back-to-school needs.
In order to help YOU become an A+ mom by giving your kids what they want and making it simple for you to get everything on your list, Sam’s Club has created a cool new Facebook application to make it easy for you to shop for back-to-school.
All you need to do to create your list is click the big green button and away you go to create a back-to-school shopping list that you can print and take with you to save you time. They also have the option to email the list so you can send it on over to Grandma and let her take care of the back-to-school shopping (What, not everyone’s mother-in-law does the back to school shopping? Mine did!).
Below is a slide show of screens from me making my list. The application has pre-selected items in the list but you can also add your own if what you need isn’t in the list, so you won’t forget ANYTHING!
Sam’s Club realizes that back-to-school is more than just notebooks and backpacks. Not only do kids need new things for a new school year, our lifestyles change at home when our kids go back to school. Breakfast isn’t as leisurely, sports and activities change dinnertime and after school snacks are often eaten on the road. Sam’s Club has great snacks and drinks (even healthy ones) at great club prices. We always buy Fiber One and other high fiber granola and snack bars from Sam’s Club. They have great prices and with the big box, I don’t have to worry that we will run out. We eat them for breakfast, lunch on the run and as between meal snacks and with my son in football AND boy scouts, I know we’ll be stocking up.
So go check out the cool Sam’s Club back-to-school Facebook application and make your shopping list! Sam’s Club has so many of the great back-to-school items your kids need, and some they just “have to have” because they’re, well, kids.
And don’t forget, Sam’s Club is having an open house this weekend too. No fees and no upcharges, so you can check out the great savings for yourself.
