INSANITY week 2 day 1

I enjoyed my Sunday off from INSANITY although I kind of missed working out.  I did clean house all day so I still kept active, just nothing real stressful or vigorous.

I took a picture last night to document my results from week to week.

I actually do see a slight change in my midsection and maybe a tiny bit in my thighs.

We have GOT to work on taking better pictures – without the shadow…it’s misleading!

I do notice that my sides are tighter.  I used to sit in my kitchen on a barstool and the kids would come up and squish on the area right above my hips, and now it’s a bit firmer, not as much is left to squish!

Today was good.  I was stronger than last week and actually did more than half of the push-up type exercises.  Last week I could barely do one or 2 reps.  I had another incident where I woke up a little after 3:30 freaked out I missed my workout.  I feel like an addict!

I’m still loving INSANITY and look forward to each and every morning with Shaun T.  Sorry Henrietta, no hunky abs today, you’re stuck with me!

    I see a definite difference in your thighs. And I am so proud of your continued work on this program, you are amazing.

    Wow, I can see a difference in your abs and above your knees. MUSCLE IS FORMING!!! I just ate, but will be doing my exercises w/in the hour. Thanks for the motivation!

        Thanks, I did! Got all yucky sweaty. Always a sign of a good work out. Or that it’s a frickin’ hot day. Har har!

    I’ll take it! you look great, and I happen to notice that your things DO look a bit firmer! YAY! I actually made it to Jazz class today because when I woke up I thought, I bet Kim was up at 5:30 – she’s INSANE! SO you are motivating me :) You kicked week one’s butt!

        That’s funny you though about me at 5:30 am. I am INSANE and loving it! I am so excited to compare week 8′s photos with these two…wow, I can’t wait!
