INSANITY 60-day total body conditioning program


INSANITY by Beachbody is an intense 60-day total-body conditioning program that will help you get in the best shape of your life.  You have to commit to 40-60+ minutes 6 days a week for 60 days.  The program consists of interval training, but turned upside down – rather than moderate exercise followed by short bursts of intensity, Shaun T. has designed a workout that is extreme effort followed by short rest periods.


My name is Kim, and I am a forty-something mom of 2 who has struggled with her weight for many years since gaining 50 lbs with my son and over 70 lbs with my daughter.  Last year, I lost all the weight and then some and found myself at a point where according to my scale I wanted to lose around 15-20 and/or tone up and really reach my ultimate fitness goals.  I have a treadmill, an exercise bike, numerous DVD workouts, a Wii and even some major, highly rated fitness machines, but I couldn’t find the motivation to create a program for myself where I was seeing results.

After seeing an INSANITY infomercial on TV I just knew that it could help me achieve my goals and that if it couldn’t, nothing would.  I got up at 5:30 am on March 14, 2011 and starting working out following the INSANITY program and I woke up energized and anxious each day afterward as I watched and felt my body get stronger.

INSANITY is not necessarily for those who are extremely out of shape, in fact they warn you that you need to be checked out by your doctor because this is THE most intense workout ever.

But it’s totally worth it.
