Today officially marks the end of the first month of the INSANITY Workout program!
I spent the last 4 weeks working out at 5:30 am 6 days a week doing this intense program and I have to say that I am STOKED for month 2 to begin. I never missed a workout and even on those few days where I felt like I couldn’t do it, once I started sweating I gave it 110%.
But here’s the thing; I don’t get to start month 2 right away, next week is “recovery week” although I’ve heard that Shaun T’s version of recovery is not exactly easy.

I do have an updated progress photo. I’m not sure I see as much change as I have in past weeks but I did lose another 1/2″ in my waist, and my thighs are back down to their original size, meaning hopefully that the muscle that is building up underneath is finally burning the fat off.

I have noticed a HUGE increase in my stamina and strength this week and I am starting to keep up better with the people in the videos and every once in awhile I even can keep up better than some of them and take fewer breaks.
Oh and I’m pretty sure my butt has gotten smaller.

I am seriously going to check out Insanity now. No joke. You look amazing! I looked at your before picture and wow, your thighs and butt are lots thinner and your sides are trimmed. Congrats Kim!! All this butt kicking is really paying off!

YAY! That’s awesome that you didn’t miss even one day! Looking at your very first picture compared to this one you can really see the difference! Especially in your arms, obliques and yep your butt does look smaller! Woohooo! I got Shred last week and have been alternating it with my regular Jazzercise class workouts and feel good about finally getting back into a routine :)

Omg congratulations ,the INSANITY workout is by far the best I have done it 6 months with out stopping this past month I added weights 2.5 each leg and 3 in hands I love the results and I will keep on doing it.we don’t need a gym to look GOOOOD. Keep it up

So you just kept starting over? I’m not sure what I want to do because some of their other programs look fun too like P90X and Turbo Fire and Insanity Asylum.

Nichol, Thanks! Turbo Fire is on my short list for when I am done with Insanity. My husband wants to do P90X so we might do that together…haven’t decided yet.
Looking good Kim looking good!! It’s like when I did not want to Shred today, I felt tired. But once I got into it I was ready to go and did it all. The energy you have after a work out is amazing. And just that feel good feeling is awesome. Hopefully in time I will be addicted to exercising!
