This morning I got up bright and early for a rendezvous with the new man in my life.
He proceeded to kick my butt! I am going to HURT tomorrow cause I’m a little sore today, but I am looking forward to it. It means INSANITY is working!
The workout was hard. I’d say I exercised during about 75% of it (though at a slower pace than they did on screen for some of it) the rest taking water breaks. 24 oz of water is NOT enough for this duration of a workout – it was 40 minutes total.
The warm-up alone tired me out, but I persevered.
I can FEEL the muscles today. They know they were worked to the max and while the program is HARD I think it’s not too hard for me that I am discouraged. I think by the time I reach day 30 I’ll be keeping up with them a lot better. Which is good that it’s not too easy, otherwise i wouldn’t see any change!
Again I didn’t sleep well last night anticipating getting up and working out. I need to stop that otherwise I’m going to have to change my workouts to the evening and I really don’t want to do that.
Anyhow, I’m looking forward to day 3!
