Have you ever forgotten to set your DVR to record to begin with?
Have you ever wished you could watch past episodes or your favorite shows?
What is Fancast?
Fancast is THE top TV destination on the web. Fancast is dedicated to celebrating television and gives fans instant access to an extensive video collection of television shows, movies, trailers and clips, so they can tune-in, catch-up and chat about their favorite programming. Fancast also offers comprehensive editorial and blog coverage with in-depth recaps and analysis on what’s hot and happening everyday in the world of television and entertainment.
Fancast debuted in January 2008 and now has more than 10,000 hours of online video programming; with more than 60,000 videos available, including over 13,000 full-length shows (more are being added every day). They have TV shows and movies not only from the current Fall lineup but also classic favorites as well. Speaking of classic favorites, they have a few of mine.
I just spent an hour watching an episode of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman from like 1995. I adored that show way back then, and I still enjoyed it today. But it doesn’t stop there, Fancast has a bunch of my favorite shows – past and present! I love that I can search for them by network too.
and much more.
And even though I have a DVR, I can’t record everything that I might want to watch from the new fall season. A few weeks back I watched the premier of a show called Eastwick on ABC. I happened to be channel surfing that evening and I discovered the show, but I haven’t watched it since nor did I record it. Now with Fancast I can get caught up.
Fancast is 100% free. Each episode does contain a couple of brief ads throughout but they are not even long enough for you to take a potty break, so they are definitely tolerable.
I’d love to know what shows you will check out on Fancast. And while you are there, you can celebrate Halloween by watching It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!
