I remember being a new mom.
The first time was a serious culture shock taking care of this new person who would only sleep while being held. This new person who not only changed the acceptable volume level in our home, but also brought with him about a million questions on how best to take care of him. Not a day went by that we didn’t have a new question or concern.
Like how the heck do you squeeze in a shower when he won’t sleep without being held?
When my daughter came along we thought we were pros. We had a 4 year old and figured it would be easy the second time.
We were wrong.
Girls are TROUBLE.
And this girl had allergies from almost the begging which brought parenting to a whole other level.
She is almost 6 years old and while she is still trouble, we finally feel like we have a handle on this whole parenting thing.
The internet is wonderful resource for new moms and veteran moms looking for support and information to help them connect with other people who are experiencing some of the same issues.
