My Style
Until recently I’d never really considered my “style”. I am who I am and had you asked me I would have said I don’t have a style. Jeans, comfortable v-neck shirts and sneakers. You should see my sneaker collection. I have a sneaker for every occasion, most of which revolve around fitness.
See:

But those are just my indoor sneakers. I have at least 4 more pairs I wear outside.
I am in no way a frumpy housewife, however, who wears pajamas or sweats all day and doesn’t bother to at least look like I care about my appearance. I am almost always dressed by 7 am and ready to take on the day.

Well, the slippers might be slightly frumpy.
This is my style.
- Clean
- Comfortable
- No muss, no fuss
But style doesn’t end with what we wear. Style encompasses so much more of the whole of who we are. Style is your state of mind. It’s who you are. The decisions you make. The life you lead. It’s what you like. What you don’t like. From the color of your kitchen to your attitude.
Style is you.
There is one place online where you can experience style in all areas of life from home and travel and fashion and food and everything in between. That place is called Elizabeth Street.

When I first visited Elizabeth Street I wasn’t sure I would connect with the site. I am not a fashion maven and wasn’t sure how far beyond that the site went, but the more I looked around, the more I realized that Elizabeth Street really does encompass the whole person. Moms aren’t just about kids. We aren’t just about clothes. We are interested in issues. We are interested in healthy food. We are interested in great products to make our lives easier. The article “Moving on Up” really resonated with me – I’m helping my sister re-design my nephew’s bedroom to be more “grown up” now that he’s about to turn 10, and I found some great tips on making that transition!
