The NWI Times is reporting that the suspect killed in an Orland Park robbery may possibly be the Honeybee killer who went on a bistate killing spree in Illinois and Indiana. The shootings occurred on Oct. 5, 2010 and 2 men were killed.
An arrest was made originally but the suspect, a police officer, was released.

I guess if the gun is the same it’s a good guess. And who knows what other evidence they have that they never released.
