I love Christmas.
Colored lights. Hot chocolate. Santa Claus. All things peppermint. Festive music. Giving gifts. The overall feeling of goodwill. And snow.
Yes, even snow.
There is something about the joy that Christmas brings into my life that makes even snow something that I look forward to. Sitting on the couch all warm and cozy under a blanket drinking hot chocolate and peppermint tea with my kids as we watch Christmas movies is a priceless way to make memories and the Christmas season helps make it all possible.
Year after year, our Christmases involve some family traditions. We love shopping for the biggest tree we can find. Setting up my Christmas village and my nutcracker “army”. And listening to the story of Snoopy and the Red Baron (Snoopy’s Christmas). Christmas would not be the same for me without the Peanuts gang. When I was a kid, I had a cassette tape of Snoopy’s Christmas and a few years ago I found it on CD. I love that I have been able to carry over a childhood tradition of my own into my kids lives.
Snoopy and pizza on Christmas Eve. We always have pizza on Christmas Eve.
But we are also always on the lookout for new things to add to our Christmas traditions, and Hallmark is one of my favorite places to shop for great gifts and decor to help complete our holiday festivities. And this year, I found some really exciting things at my local Hallmark Gold Crown store for Christmas!
Peanuts! They have Peanuts!
Hallmark has a lot of great Peanuts items for the holidays and I selected a couple of my favorites to add to our Christmas traditions. You can find them at your local Hallmark and at Hallmark.com.
The Hallmark Peanuts Gang Christmas Light Show is a set of 5 collectible figures that plays song and light up. Each figure works individually and in sequence with each other. I still have to add Linus and Snoopy to my collection as soon as each one is available.
The ‘Believing is what Christmas is all about’ figurine is dated and is the perfect representation of the Peanuts Christmas story.
