When my daughter visited the allergist for the first time for her eczema and he recommended creams, one of the first recommendations he gave was for Eucerin products and we have been fans ever since.
Nothing else has worked to not only relieve the itch from her eczema but also reduce the flare-up.
Aquaphor is a line of products from Eucerin that is gentle enough even for a baby’s delicate skin.
I was sent 2 products from Aquaphor to try out and to share with you.

The Aquaphor Healing Ointment looks and feels like a petroluem jelly but smooths into your skin and provides noticeable relief from dry skin almost immediately. When I use it on the backs of my hands my skin no loonger feels dry and taut, it is smooth and soft. And I LOVE that I can use it for Abby on her chapped skin. With the spring we have a lot of wind and cool air and she always has chapped chin and cheeks. With the Aquaphor Healing Ointment I can relive her skin and know that it is safe and gentle for her.
The Aquaphor baby Gentle Wash & Shampoo has solved a huge problem in our house. We have struggled to find a product that my daughter can use on herself and that doesn’t irritate her already irritated skin. It is free of fragrances and dyes and just simply cleans her hair and body – gently.

There is a scene in the romantic comedy My Big Fat Greek Wedding where the father uses Windex as a way to fix everything. As funny as that notion is… it’s not actually true and we DON’T recommend trying it. However, it has been said that Aquaphor products are the “duct tape of dermatology” or “miracle goo” and people continually tell us how it helps their various skin needs, reminding them of how Windex helped Mr. Portokalos.
How is or can Aquaphor be your “duct tape of dermatology”? What issues do you have the Aquaphor can solve?
