My kids have birthdays coming up (they 1 week apart) and with that comes the search for the perfect cake ideas.
My friend Dawn will be making their cakes this year and I know they will turn out great, but I wanted to do some research and provide her with some pictures of some cakes we like.

Fondant: Looks great, tastes awful. Might I suggest that these people’s artistic skills might be better served by making a gift of a sculpture that looks like the cake they made instead? It would keep longer, and be better appreciated… and wouldn’t taste awful.
